Virat Kohli recently made a record. He became the fastest to score 9000 runs as against New Zealand.

Virat Kohli also holds the record for the most consecutive wins as Indian captain. First, India won the Test series 3-0, then ODI series 5-0 and then T20 match. Then team India also decimated Australia in the first ODI, making the score of 10 wins.

Another record he made is 31 tons in ODIs. He got it against New Zealand in the first ODI. Kohli is heading to take over Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar top spot of 49 tons in the ODIs.

No other Indian captain holds the record of the double century. Virat Kohli became the first Indian captain to score a double century. He also holds the record of four double centuries as captain.

Skipper Virat Kohli also holds the top spot as ODI batsmen as per the latest ICC rankings. He reached 899 points which is the best ever by an Indian cricketer.
