Pichai,the techie from Chennai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a group of Google’s client software products, including Google Chrome and Chrome OS. He started overseeing the progress of different apps such as Gmail and Google Maps that have certainly helped the mass a lot. Pichai was proclaimed as the next CEO of Google on August 10, 2015 after previously being appointed as the product Chief by CEO Larry Page on October 24, 2014.
Being at such a great positions comes in with a lot of perks and obviously a high salary. Let us tell you Sundar Pichai has total Google shares of worth rupees 4415 crore. Isn’t that a whooping amount of money? But that’s not it. He is paid Rs. 330 crores as his annual salary. You would be surprised to know that the total Google stock grant of Pichai is much much more than bringing together 10 times the cost of India’s Mars Mission, 10 times more than the India’s moon mission and 4 times the total revenues generated by the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2015.
He certainly has a huge amount of grant on his name which is enough to overrule the combined income of the major 14 startups in India including Snapdeal, Zomato and Paytm.
