Rajasthan Government to Re-launch its Populist Scheme Nyay Aapke Dwar this Month.

Four years back in 2013, Vasundhara Raje led Rajasthan government scripted a commendable story of good governance, law and order in state with its powerful schemes like ‘Nyay Aapke Dwar’ (Revenue Lok Adalats). In these “ready-to-move public courts”, the victims of social injustice directly approached the authorities and sought help for disputed property, revenue issues or delay in specific government proceedings. Needless to say, the scheme was a huge hit among people. Around 70 lakh cases were resolved in 28,387 public camps organized in 523 Gram Panchayats. Seeing the massive success of their popular ‘land & revenue social campaigns’, Rajasthan government is braced up to launch it yet again.

  • Regularize Illegal Colonies through Chief Minister Shehari Jan Kalyan Shivirs

This time, the authorities will target illegal residential colonies that have sprouted out like mushrooms, everywhere in Rajasthan. Through “Mukhyamantri Shehari Jan Kalyan Shivirs”, the authorities will regularize illegal residential colonies constructed before January 1, 1990. In case of SC/STs, the government will consider regularization of land occupied till January 1, 1996. All cases will proceed under the Rajasthan Grant’s Act.

  • Resolve Residential Land or Home Related Disputes

Camps will be set up in various cities and towns from May 10 to July 10. Other than authorizing lands, the officers will address disputes related to land ownership and errors in record maintenance. Other issues that call for quick action include approval of house maps, residential colonies constructed on agricultural lands and disputed complexes erected prior to December 31, 2015.

The government will simplify rules for ‘patta system’ (land registration). Home owners who’ve constructed their houses within 500 square meters can get their property authorized for free. Those who own a larger area need to pay regularization charges to the government. Land owners who didn’t get approval for their assets last time can do the needful by paying 25% additional premium. This amount will be charged one time.

The government has relaxed the terms and conditions for maximum allotment limit. The limit has been increased up to 150 square yards. Folks, who’ve paid UDT (urban development tax) and remaining lease amount, will be exempted from taxes.

  • Pandit Deen Dayal Vishesh Kalyan Shivirs will Be Organized in September

In next two months, state leaders will organize Deen Dayal Vishesh Kalyan Shivir to solve 23 sensitive issues pertaining to PHED, PWD, custodian land and disputed agricultural holdings.

  • Phase III of Revenue Lok Adalats will Be Launched on May 8

In the third phase of Nyay Aapke Dwar campaign, the government will prioritize disputes related to pathways, as mentioned in the circular issued on August 10, 2016. These revenue lok adalats will be held in Gram Panchayat headquarters until June 30.

  • Smart Villages Coming Soon in Rajasthan

Based on the lines of ‘smart cities’, Rajasthan will have 3,169 smart villages that will have clean drinking water supply, improved infrastructure, land connectivity, sports ground, better medical facilities, power-savvy street lighting and high speed Wi-Fi. The state government will construct houses under Pradhan Mantri Jan Aawaas Yojana to provide affordable housing to labors and farmers.

The aforementioned powerful schemes launched by Vasundhara government will reap sweet fruits in the upcoming 2018 Rajasthan elections, if they’re implemented successfully, on time.
