The second session of the Collector-SP Conference covered a myriad of topics and meaningful topics which will contribute to development in the state along with ensuring that the benefit of schemes reaches the last man in the queue.
Delploy IT resources for effective functioning
On the first day of Collector-SP Conference, CM Raje highlighted the importance of IT in ensuring effective functioning of district collector’s.
This is the second session on the first day of this grand conference which is slated to continue till June 3. On the first day, the Chief Minister took feedback from all district collectors for more than ten hours and gave necessary guidelines.
Rajasthan: Leading State in IT Arena
The Desert state has bagged a host of awards for its reformatory IT initiatives, one of them being Bhamashah Yojana. This scheme ensures that there is direct transfer of benefit. The Chief Minister said that we have taken many such initiatives through IT to overcome the problems of the people who were appreciated across the country. Rajasthan has been Leadership in IT today after winning a number of national awards.
In addition to the Digital Leader of the Year Award, Rajasthan bagged the E-Governance Initiative of the Year Award for Bhamashah Yojana, Effective Use of Technology and Safety Award for Abhay Command Center, Health Insurance Initiative of the Year for Bamashah Health Insurance Scheme and prestigious award.
Mobile apps should be promoted for quick and effective disposal of grievances. She also urged all collectors to use this app on a daily basis for maximum results.
Quick settlement of land related applications related to investment proposals
The Chief Minister directed all officials to ensure expeditious allotment of land allotments, land use changes, NOC issuance, etc. This, she said, will usher in meaningful investment proposals which will boost the agenda of Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit held last year.
“When an industry is established, the whole state benefits in addition to job openings for people,” said CM Raje.
CM Raje directed District Collectors to compulsorily convene monthly meetings of the revenue officials. This will ensure that the real feedback reaches about revenue promises reaches to the concerned officials. The collector must monitor the construction of new buildings in the state to check misutilisation of public money.
NyayAapke Dwaar has brought phenomenal results
The ‘NyayAapke Dwaar’ which is ‘Justice at your doorstep’, is another major scheme which has played the key role in solving millions of revenue cases impending for time immemorial.
CM Raje directed collectors to expedite the resolving process of national food security cases. She said that the main agenda behind these schemes is providing benefit to the needy. Even Panchayat camps have bettered the lives of people and brought a genuine smile on their faces.
Every district to have Abhay Command Centers
State-of-the-art Police Control Room ‘Abhay Command Center’ set up in Jaipur Police Commissioner for smart policing has proved to eb a great tool for effective disaster management and fire services.
“Police centres on the same lines as ‘Abhay’ should be built across all districts, CM Raje asserted. The Chief Minister said that such centers would also be set up at 6 other divisional head quarters and all district headquarters will be linked to these command centers in a phased manner.
Important role of collectors in delivering health services
Taking note of the implementation of Bhamashah Health Insurance Scheme in the districts, Mrs. Raje said that district collectors play a crucial role in making ideal PHCs, dialysis and CT scan services and health insurance etc. These services are provided to people on PPP mode.
The Chief Minister apprised the progress of the work of distributing textile banks, toy banks, mobile libraries, sanitary napki, and Annapurna kitchens from the district collectors.
Empower Youth through skill development programs
Rajasthan’s youth is its fulcrum for development. CM Raje said that the young energy should be effectively deployed by combining their present skill sets to skill development programmes running in the state.
CM Raje asked officials to monitor the progress of Skill Development Centers on a regular basis.
Improvement in drinking water supply
CM Raje said that the provision of drinking water supply has improved. However, she said we should not rest but buckle for more opportunities.
Establishment of Aro Plants and its geo-tagging in fluoride and polluted areas should be done to ensure safe drinking water is available to one and all.
