Muslim Girl Gets Education Loan After Writing Letter To PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi’s attempt to help a Karnataka girl have created quite a buzz and inspiration. She belongs to Mandya district and she never expected that she would get that much prompt response from country’s government. B B Sara is a MBA student who because of financial crisis, could not continue his studies on her own. After sending the letter, she was provided an education loan within a span of 10 days.

In her words, she said, “I was confident that PM will respond but did not expect it to be so fast, I got a reply in just 10 days”.

As mentioned by Sara, she had asked for education loan in Central bank of India but could not get it. Even after being a good student and getting high marks, she could not get the loan approved. Bank officials mentioned, how will she repay as her father works in sugar factory. His father had not got any salary from last 8 months. Despite of this, she kept on approaching for the loan but there was no one to hear.

After returning with no hopes in hand, Sara wrote a letter to prime minister with her father Abdul Ilyas for assistance. She not only received acknowledgement within 10 days, but also received a loan of Rs. 1.5 lakh from Vijaya bank. They found her completely eligible for education loan and thus agreed upon giving her the loan.

In her letter, Sara urged the prime minister that it would be great for her studies if she gets financial assistance under Beti Bacaho-Beti Padhao scheme.

This was not the first incident of prime minister’s generosity. Earlier also, when a village girl wrote letter to PM for great hardships in her village, she received quick acknowledgement and a visit from PMO team.

PM Modi works for people and this is apparent in his unexpectedly quick responses.
