A winning streak for BJP all the way. This time BJP has proved to be more victorious and has emerged as a fierce leader.
Congress has been given another chance in Punjab. Thanks to Sidhu Ji who is never at a loss of words -whether hollow or meaningful, that remains to be seen.
The party which has massively lost ground is Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party. It has been beaten in an overwhelming fashion. The amsses have denoucned it’s trust in the party.
Over three hours into counting, the BJP had raced ahead in 306 seats in UP, a whopping gain of 257 seats over its tally of 48 in the 2012 assembly election. The Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance was a poor second, leading in 72 seats, down 181. Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party was leading only in 18 seats.
Punjab
Congress was given another chance in Punjab, while AAP was left disguised with the massive failure. 77 seats sealed in Punjab by Congress, while BJP took home 18 seats.
Uttar Pradesh
The larget state of UP has now become a stronghold for the BJP, which has won more than 50 seats out of the 70 seats in UP. Narendra modi has been the face of BJP who has encashed many votes for the party. Interestingly, Congress has taken a steep fall and is only ahead in 14 seats.
This win will up the BJP quotient in the Rajya Sabha or upper house of parliament. This is going to be an even bigger victory for the BJP who will perhaps now form majority in the House. This will engender expedition of legislation, thereby making effective decisions and impressive implementation, something which was thwarted by other parties like BSP, Congress and AAP.
While Akhilesh struck an alliance with Congress in expectation of a thumping mandate but to no avail. 324 seats won by BJP, while Baspa won 20 and Congress alliance took away 56 seats.
Uttarakhand
BJP witnessed a winning streak in Uttarakhand, while it sealed 57 seats. Meanwhile, Congress occupied only 11 seats.
Manipur
BJP won 19 seats, while congress forms government with 22 seats in hand.
Goa
Goa spews a reverse story. It gives a mandate to Congress with 19 seats, while BJP managed to seal only 13 seats here.
Well, whatever the results were, BJP has ushered in a whole new affair of governance.
The Modi super wave brought a Saffron Holi for all BJP members and the whole of India which is rejoicing with NaMo at the helm of affairs. A happy India, at the end of all hustles!
