A perfect amalgam of color, style and cutting-edge designs – the Indian Couture week 2017 will kick off in Delhi this week. Watch out for latest styles and bold statements.
The Fashion Design Council of India through its flagship event celebrates the cultural diversity of a country, which has been a beacon of light for young craftsmen and fashionatas. The beautiful craftsmanship, rich textiles and an array of rich embroideries and intricate techniques displayed at the fashion fiesta is a true work of art.
Sunil Sethi, President of The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has finally announced the date for the most awaited event. The weeklong event will be held from 24 -30 July. The event will take place at the Taj Palace hotel, and at the few off-site locations of the capital.
The event organizers are celebrating 10 years of fashion at the couture week. The event will showcase impressive works of art by fashion designers around 14 couturiers. The ramp will get enlivened by famous designers across the country, such as:

- Gaurav Gupta
- Manav Gangwani
- Monisha Jaising
- Rahul Mishra
- Manish Malhotra
- Reynu Taandon
- Rina Dhaka

Like always, this year too, the event will be multifaceted in nature. We sincerely hope that the latest collection will sport a wide array of beautiful hues and eye-catching accessories with heavy use of diamonds, emeralds, and rubies. A few offsite shows and glittering Bollywood presence is also expected in the event.
