BJP MPs Getting Fired Due To Low Attendance

kirti-varun-BJP fires 10 MPs

Well, getting fired is a strong way to state what recently happened in the parliament. But it is not at all false. Bhartiaya Janta Party has actually left a freely stranded course for at least ten of its MPs to take on, because their poor attendance during parliamentary sessions is symbolic of their sheer carelessness.

On asked for further details on this matter, Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Venkaiah Naidu, politely framed a statement saying, “Members are nominated to Parliamentary Committees based on the time they are able to give to such panels. It is a routine exercise to nominate members to parliamentary panels. ”

Another subtle excuse to over shadow this news is the announcement made from these three financial committees, namely, Estimates Committee, Public Accounts Committee and Committee on Public Undertakings, that is, the one year term which is coming to an end requires nomination of new candidates to begin as early as possible.

Candidates who are not likely to get re-nominated due to their bad absentee records in the attendance register have been chosen by the three financial committees and their respective names are; Varun Gandhi (Committee of Public Undertakings), Vinod Khanna (Estimates Committee), Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan (Committee of Public Undertakings), S.S Ahluwalia, Ramesh Pokhriyal,  Darshana Jadosh, Sanjay Jaiswal, Om Birla, Pankaj Chaudhary and Kirti Azad (Estimates Committee).

This news is expected to be a strong step towards disciplining the inadequate attendance and positions taken for granted by members of parliament. Although when a government official said that, Every member (from Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha), be it nominated or Independent, is a member of at least two Parliamentary committees”, the listed candidates still have a chance to rectify their mistake because if they are eliminated from one committee then there is the other one in their satchel to prove that they can be more diligent and regular. But they know very well, their failure to do so would just end their term as a member of parliament.
