Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter is now ready to enter the Bollywood industry with his film ‘Beyond The Clouds’. He has signed the debut film with renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s. This movie is based on India. Movie Beyond The Clouds will have a world premiere at the 61st BFI London Film Festival going to be held in October.
Film Beyond The Clouds discusses the triumph and adoration of life against the Mumbai backdrop showcased through the eyes of the maestro Majid Majidi. Film has Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles.
61st BFI London Film Festival
At 61st BFI London Film Festival, screening of 242 films with 29 world premieres, 8 international premieres and 34 European premieres will be done. The screening of Beyond The Clouds will take place on October 13 and 14. This is an official selection in the competition category.
“This is the first feature film I have made out of my country Iran, an experience which I waiting for years to happen. Beyond The Clouds is an extension of my cinematic beliefs, the roots of which lie in human values, love, friendship and family bonding. Beyond The Clouds is a story of a brother and sister like Children of Heaven, with the difference being that the siblings are grown ups and tackle greater conflicts with the backdrop of the bustling city of Mumbai,” Mr Majidi said about his film’s world premiere at the festival.
Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s and Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman along with lead cast of the film, Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan will attend the premiere in London.
The film is produced by Zee Studios, Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora of Namah Pictures.
