Indians will now fly at just Rs 2500 per hour across the country. Thanks to PM NaMo for UDAN scheme

With the BJP flag sweeping across the nation, there is inflow of tremendous benefits pouring in from the Center and states. Today, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the UDAN scheme in Shimla.  This scheme will engender stronger connectivity across the nation, thereby easing the travelling process of Indians who want to fly across the national boundaries. Prime Minister launched this scheme for the Aam Aadmi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the air regional connectivity scheme UDAN on Thursday amidst the beauty and wondrous heights of the hilly region. UDAN which is an acronym for ‘Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik‘ will aid Aam Nagrik in travelling from one town to another.

PM Modi flagged off three flights from the Jubbarhatti airport, which is situated in the outskirts of Shimla. Not only this, PM Modi will flag off inaugural flights through video conferencing . Flights from the Shimla-Delhi sector, Kadapa-Hyderabad and Nanded-Hyderabad sectors will be flagged off by the PM as inaugural flights of this scheme.

Due to the rising fares of flight carriers, air travel had become a luxury-of-sorts for the Aam Aadmi of the country. To stop the undue luxury factor attached to flights, Modi devised this wonderful plan to ensure that all Indians are able to avail the facility of air travel. Under the UDAN scheme, Indians will now be able to relish a flight-ride at just Rs 2500 per hour. This is exciting and mirrors tremendous efforts put in by the Indian government to manifest the dream of every Aam Nagrik to air-travel.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to announce the news.

The scheme which will be operational for 10 years has roped in many airlines for the purpose. The seating capacity of airlines under the scheme will range from 19 to 78.  Reportedly, half of the seats in every flight will be charged for a maximum  of Rs 2,500 per seat per hour.
